STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis Scooper wrestling team brought home the team title trophy from the Mandan Lions Tournament Saturday.
The Scoopers finished in first place 325.5 points and crowned four champions. They were Dee Daniels at 133 pounds, Kalvin Ketelsen at 145, Joseph Nadig at 152 and Zac Juelfs at 285.
Tyler Baldwin at 107 and Kelson Dirk at 172 were runners-up.
Bismarck placed second in the team standings with 293, Pierre was third with 257.5 and Rapid City Stevens was fourth with 238.5.
