PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Health reported 93 new COVID-19 cases in its Sunday report – the bulk of them in Minnehaha County.
The state has now 1,635 cumulative cases with 646 people who have recovered from the virus.
Cases in Minnehaha County increased by 86 for a total of 1,362, up from Saturday’s 1,276. Lincoln County is at 90 cases, up four from Saturday’s 86.
The health department reported no new positive tests in the Black Hills area. Pennington County, the latest county to have a positive test, remains at 10 cumulative with six people recovered.
The state’s COVID-19-related death toll remained at 7 as well.
