Sustainable Ag Tour to be held near McLaughlin

McLAUGHLIN, S.D. – Diverse croplands, cover crops and grassland management are among the topics to be discussed during a Sustainable Ag Tour near McLaughlin.

The event includes field tours and a rainfall simulator. Set for June 7, 2022 from 10a.m to 2p.m. at the Bob and Candice Mizera ranch, the Sustainable Ag Tour is sponsored by the South Dakota Soil Health Coalition and is part of the South Dakota Farm Bureau Summer Event Series.

 

Bussing to the fields will be offered and a free lunch will also be provided.

Directions to the Mizera ranch are: From McLaughlin, go 3 miles south on Highway 63, and 7 miles west on 113th St. The Mizera operation will be on the right.
