Teen sentenced to 20 years in prison for role in killing

RAPID CITY, S.D. – A 19-year-old man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for his connection to the death 43-year-old Nathan Graham in Rapid City.

Ross Johnson received his sentence Thursday.

He got a total of 20 years for his two convictions, five years for Accessory to Murder and 15 for Aggravated Assault, the sentences will be served consecutively.

Police said Johnson got in an altercation with Graham, gave a gun to 14-year-old Ronald Black Cloud, and told him to shoot Graham.

Graham was fatally shot in the back of the head.
