STURGIS, S.D. – The Meade County Sheriff’s Office has welcomed three into their ranks following their graduation from the South Dakota Law Enforcement Academy.
On Friday morning, Dep. Payne, Dep. Hanson and Dep. Jimenez graduated from the Academy in Pierre SD. Meade County Sheriff Pat West was in attendance to congratulate them on this significant achievement.
In a social media post, Sheriff West says “These three have been in Pierre studying SD law, learning how to conduct investigations, how to drive in an emergency response, and numerous other critical skills needed to do this job.”
The post went on to say “we welcome them home, and are looking forward to having them out on the road, serving the citizens of Meade County!”
