RAPID CITY, S.D.— Two men and one woman from Rapid City, along with one Colorado woman were sentenced Wednesday for drug conspiracy, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office District of South Dakota.
Mark Bond, 59, was sentenced to more than 26 years, Todd Pape, 61 was sentenced to 25 years and Kaylee Heppner, 37, was sentenced to five years in federal prison. The three individuals are from Rapid City.
Teresa Goodroad, 41, of Colorado, was sentenced to more than 17 years.
Their convictions stemmed from a large scale distribution of methamphetamine in Rapid City and on the Pine Ridge Reservation.
Goodroad and her significant other, Richard Glover, who is set to be sentenced this summer, were the source of supply for Bond and Pape in South Dakota.
Bond and Pape made trips to Colorado to pick up pounds of methamphetamine from Goodroad and Glover. Or Goodroad and Glover would deliver the drugs to Bond and Pape in South Dakota.
Once the drugs were in South Dakota it would be further distributed by multiple individuals, including Heppner. Between 15 and 45 kilograms (about 33 to 99 pounds) of meth was distributed into South Dakota.
Co-defendant Marlena Pond was previously sentenced to six years in custody. Sentences for six other co-defendants are pending until this summer.
