Titans wrap up play at Sturgis Baseball Rally with loss to Miles City

STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis Titans wrapped up play Sunday at the Sturgis Baseball Rally with a 5-3 loss to Miles City.

Miles City took a 2-0 lead into the fourth, when the Titans closed the gap to 2-1.

Miles City answered with 3 runs in the fifth that would be the difference as the Titans came two runs short in the bottom of the seventh.

Ridge Inhofer helped lead the Titans with 3 hits.

Connor Cruickshank pitched the entire game for Sturgis, and took the loss. Cruickshank struck out 2 batters.

In the championship game, the Billings Expos defeated Spearfish 5-4.

Spearfish battled their way back into the championship game with a 9-6 win over Miles City.
