Trial rescheduled for man charged with murder

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The man accused of second-degree murder in connection with a 2021 murder has had his trial rescheduled.

Antoine Bissonette, 40, is charged with second-degree murder and accused of stabbing 44-year-old Andrew Bear Robe in 2021.

Bear Robe was found dead in the garage of a home in the 900th block of North Seventh Street in Rapid City.

On Monday, his jury trial was rescheduled for May 20 through May 31 of 2024.

Bissonette faces life in prison if he’s convicted.
