SPEARFISH, S.D. – In legion baseball actin Tuesday, Spearfish Post 164 picked up a doubleheader win over Box Elder Post 315.
Post 164 won game by the score of 16-3 in a game that lasted five innings due to the mercy rule.
In a much tighter game two, Spearfish edged out Post 315 by the score of 5 to 4.
Spearfish improved to 6-18 and Post 315 fell to 2-4.
In other legion action;
Rapid City Post 320 played a pair of games against Gillette Post 42 and Brandon Valley.
The Stars committed five errors in an 11 to 0 loss to Gillette. In their second game, Post 320 edged out Brandon Valley in a hard fought 2 to 1 victory.
