PIERRE, S.D. — On Tuesday, the South Dakota Department of Health reported 19 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state.
No new probable cases were reported.
Three new deaths were added, putting the states death toll at 2,033.
Eight confirmed cases were reported West River. There were five in Pennington County, two in Lawrence County, and one in Oglala Lakota County.
In South Dakota, 146 cases are considered active, that number is down from 174 on Monday.
Health officials say there are 23 people are currently hospitalized.
