RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police arrested two people following a traffic stop Wednesday night.
Police say they stopped a car for speeding near the 700 block of Saint Patrick Street around 9:30 p.m.
During the traffic stop, police say they noticed an open alcohol container in the back seat of the car and asked the two people inside to step out of the vehicle. After a search, they allegedly found meth and a digital scale. A revolver was also confiscated.
Arrested were Joshua Munyan, 40, and Jessica Madsen, 36, both of Rapid City.
Both were taken to the Pennington County jail.
Munyan is charged with possession of a firearm with a prior felony drug conviction and Madsen is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
