KEYSTONE, S.D. – One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a car went into the Keystone Mall over the weekend.
Officials say the Battle Creek Fire Department was called to the scene just before noon on Saturday. Arriving crews found a black SUV partially in the building.
There was significant damage to the front of the business, and Rapid City Fire Department Heavy Rescue was called to the scene to assist and assured there was no structural compromise to the business.
After evaluation of the structure, Rapid City Fire concluded that there was no compromise to the integrity of the structure.
Officials say two people were evaluated by Keystone Ambulance Service on scene and one person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
