STURGIS, S.D. – No serious injuries were reported following a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Glenn and Paha Sapa Drive in Sturgis early Monday afternoon.
Sturgis Police Geody Vandewater says officers responded just before noon Monday to the non-injury accident at the intersection of Paha Sapa and Glenn Drive.
A Ford Fusion driven by a juvenile was traveling south on Paha Sapha and was hit by a Chevy Tahoe traveling east on Glenn Drive. The Tahoe failed to yield to the Fusion and collided with it. The collision sent the Ford Fusion into the residence located at the intersection causing damage to the front porch support system.
There was no injuries to either driver and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Black Hills Power was brought in to work on the damaged pole while first responders tended to those involved in the crash.
The crash was under investigation by the Sturgis Police Department.
