COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Black Hills State men’s basketball dropped its Friday night game to UC Colorado Springs, 92-63.
The Yellow Jackets (16-6, 14-3 RMAC) shot well at 46.8 percent and had two double-digit scorers, but couldn’t overcome their 20 turnovers.
Adam Moussa scored the 500th point of his career as he finished the night with 16 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Sindou Cisse also scored 16 to go with his six rebounds.
Joel Scott led the way with eight rebounds while scoring seven.
Meanwhile, Black Hills State women’s basketball defeated the UCCS Mountain Lions 55-52 Friday night to improve to 14-8 overall and 12-4 in the RMAC.
The Yellow Jackets battled hard against a scrappy Mountain Lions squad to bounce back from a tough home court loss to CSU Pueblo last weekend.
Freshman Haylee Weathersby was on fire as she racked up a team leading and career high 22 points. Weathersby also tallied seven rebounds on the night.
