RAPID CITY, S.D. – Hart Ranch south of Rapid City hosted this year’s Region 6B boys and girls golf tournaments.
The top two teams and approximately the top 15 boys and girls golfers advance to the State ‘B’ Golf Tournament on June 7-8 in Brookings.
The Wall Eagles captured the boys region title with a total score of 298. Philip placed second with a 304 and Rapid City Christian was third with a 308.
Meanwhile, Bison won the girls region title with a score of 311. White River was second with a 333 and Newell was third with a 334.
Wyatt Larson, a seventh grader from McIntosh, was the boys medalist after carding an 85. David Hubacher of Rapid City Christian was second with a 91 and McCoy Peterson of Philip was third with a 92.
The medalist on the girls side was Allison Kahler from Bison with a score of 90. Kelsey Morrison of White River was second with a 95 and Kamri Kittelson of Jones County was third with a 98.
