STURGIS, S.D. – Wareing Motors is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of its 12th annual Food Drive fundraiser, which raised a total of $11,818.45 for area food pantries.
The Belle Fourche location raised an impressive $7,209.25 for the Belle Fourche Compassion Cupboard, while the Sturgis location collected $4,609.20 for the Sturgis Kiwanis Food Pantry.
Funds were raised through a combination of customer donations and a generous contribution from Wareing Motors itself. For every vehicle sold during the campaign period, Wareing Motors donated $100 to the designated food pantry. Additionally, customers had the opportunity to “round up” their service department purchases, with Wareing Motors matching these contributions.
“We are incredibly grateful to our customers and the entire community for their overwhelming support of this year’s Food Drive,” said Jim O’Byrne, General Manager of the Belle Fourche location. “The funds raised will make a significant difference in the lives of families in need.”
Tim Kugler, General Manager of the Sturgis location, echoed these sentiments, stating, “We are proud to support the vital work of the Kiwanis Food Pantry and are humbled by the generosity of our customers. We look forward to this food drive every year and the positive impact it has on our community”
Wareing Motors extends its sincere thanks to all who participated in this year’s Food Drive. Their generosity will help ensure that families in need have access to nutritious food for the coming months and hopefully beyond.
