HETTINGER, N.D. – Sturgis finished second in the team standings at the Hettinger Classic Saturday.
The Scoopers finished with a team total 166.5. New Salem-Almont, N.D. won the team title with 196.5 points. Hettinger/Scranton came in third, Spearfish was fourth and Bowman County/Beach rounded out the top five.
Four Sturgis Scooper claimed championships, with Logan DeSersa at 126 pounds, Kelton Olson at 132, Perry Ketelsen at 138 and Reese Jacobs at 170.
Spearfish crowned two champions with Oakley Blakeman at 145 and Bailey Badwound at 152.
Harding County’s Grey Gilbert won at 220.

MILLER, S.D. – The Philip Scotties took home the team title of the Mller/Highmore/Harrold Wrestling Invitational Saturday.
Philip finished with 195 points with Redfield Area in a distant second with 161.5.
Burke/Gregory finished in third and Howard was fourth.
Philip crowned four champions on the day, including Kip Cordes at 106, McCoy Peterson at 152, Burk Blasius at 160 and Cody Donnelly at 195.
WEST CENTRAL, S.D. – At the West Central Invitational, Rapid City Central placed third in the team standings with 112.5 points, behind Pierre in first place and Watertown in second.
Rapid City Central crowned one champion at 152 pounds with TJ Morrison.
Pierre crowned the most champions with 7.
BRANDON, S.D. – At the Dan Pansch Invite in Brandon, the home team Lynx won the team title with 235 points. Rapid City Stevens placed second with 225 and Tea Area was third.
The Raiders crowned three champions with Logan Graf at 130, Riley Benson at 152 and Ryan Brink at 195.
