PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Health reported 265 new COVID cases in their weekly report dropped Wednesday.
There are 34 hospitalized due to the virus this week and two new deaths among cases were reported. The state’s death toll rises to 3,223.
Across the Black Hills area, Pennington County listed 22 new cases, Lawrence County had 23 and there were 6 out of Meade County.
Elsewhere, Oglala Lakota County listed 6 new cases, Custer County had 4 and Butte County reported 2.
