WALL, S.D. – Firefighters have reportedly contained a large wildfire that burned five miles north of Wall Thursday.
Great Plains Fire Dispatch says the South Creighton Fire charred about 370 acres.
The fire was reported just after 1:00 p.m. Thursday. Federal, State and Local resources from the area responded to battle the human-caused blaze.
Another fire near the state line north of Beulah, Wyoming burned just under an acre Thursday.
The Redwater Fire was still active as of Thursday night as Federal and local resources were dispatched to that one.
