LAS VEGAS, NV – South Dakota cowboys brought home championship titles as the Indian National Finals Rodeo wrapped up this weekend in Las Vegas.
Cash Wilson, Wall, SD won the saddle bronc world title after a strong performance at the INFR. Wilson placed first in the championship round with a score of 80 points. Overall, he finished first in the average with 311 points on four head.
Wilson finished one point ahead of the defending INFR champion Cole Elshere from Faith, SD who had 310 points.
The hits just kept comping with Buffalo Gap, SD bronc rider Steven DeWolfe, a four-time INFR Tour Champion, won the world title in bareback. DeWolfe finished third in the championship round with a score of 76 points. Overall, he won the average in the bareback riding with 313 points on four head. He finished 8 points ahead of Jayco Roper.
Don Bettelyoun, Eagle Butte, SD won the INFR Senior Team Roping Header championship.
