STURGIS, S.D. – Wind and blowing snow led to slippery driving for the morning commute Thursday.
Local law enforcement and the highway patrol were busy responding to a handful of accidents.
The highway patrol says one of those accidents was a semi-truck and trailer that jack knifed in the construction zone at I-90’s Exit 37.
The truck came to rest blocking the eastbound lanes.
The patrol was forced to divert eastbound traffic around the accident via Exit 37 until it could be cleared.
