TILFORD, S.D.- Authorities have released the name of a 47-year-old man who died Monday afternoon in a single vehicle UTV crash six miles northeast of Piedmont.
The highway patrol says Aaron Sibilsky of Pulaski, Wisconsin was the driver of a 2020 Tracker XTR1000 that was traveling north on Ricard Road about three miles south of Tilford Road.
The Tracker failed to negotiate a turn, left the roadway and struck a fence in the ditch that was part of a cattle guard in the road.
The Tracker tripped and overturned.
Sibilsky was ejected from the UTV and died from his injuries at the scene. His passenger, 46-year-old Nichole Behrent of Appleton, Wisconsin was also ejected and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
