RAPID CITY, S.D. – A Rapid City woman made her initial court appearance Thursday on a charge connected to a fatal hit and run.
Zaniya White Dress, 29, is charged with one count of misprision of felony stemming from an incident on Sept. 13, 2023.
White Dress was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run crash that led to the death of Terrance Little Thunder. She allegedly hid the vehicle involved, which she owned.
It is unclear if White Dress was operating the vehicle at the time of the crash and the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe is still offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the prosecution of the driver.
White Dress declined to speak in court and was denied bond.
