Woman charged with vehicular homicide in court

DEADWOOD, S.D. – A woman who allegedly struck and killed a pedestrian in Deadwood faces three charges.

Brittany Diana Sneesby, age 26, faces charges of vehicular homicide, first offense drinking under the influence, and speeding.

On Dec. 13, Sneesby was allegedly speeding when she struck and killed 38-year-old Brandon Pressley.

Pressley was hit in Deadwood while crossing Highway 14A near the intersection of Main Street. Law enforcement conducted a field sobriety test and found that Sneesby had been drinking.

Sneesby will appear back in court at the Lawrence County Courthouse on Feb. 8.
