RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office says a woman who was found unresponsive at the city’s Care Campus has died.
The 31-year-old was found unresponsive around 10 a.m. Wednesday morning. Detox staff attempted life-saving measures while medical assistance was en route.
The woman was taken to Monument Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
The sheriff’s office says there’s no indication of foul play, however an autopsy has been scheduled.
The Rapid City Police Department will oversee the ongoing investigation.
