Wrestling Wrap – Lyman wins Bennett County Wrestling Invitational; Harding County and Newell participate in Battler Invite

MARTIN, S.D. – Lyman captured the team title of the Bennett County Invitational Saturday.

Lyman finished with 134 points and crowned five champions.

Rapid City Stevens J.V. was second and crowned two champions.

Gordon/Rushville placed third and Philip came in fourth.

The Scotties crowned one champion at 285 with Lincoln Koehn.

In other wrestling action Saturday, Harding County placed 8th at the Battler Invitational with Newell finishing in 15th.

Highlights included a second place finish for Cade Costello of Harding County at 113, a second place finish for Cade Martian of Harding County at 120 and a second place finish for Newell’s Chase VanDerBoom at 145.
