MADISON, S.D. – Rapid City Stevens claimed the team title of the Madison Invitational Saturday in high school wrestling.
The Raiders finished on top with 201.5 points, and crowned four winners.
They included Darien Malone at 126 pounds, Declan Malone at 138, Cooper Voorhees, who defeated Wren Jacobs of Sturgis at 160, and Ryan Brink at 220.
Sturgis placed third in the invite, behind second place finisher Omaha Central.
Meanwhile, Rapid City Central placed third at the Pat Weede Memorial Invite in Gillette.
The Cobblers scored a 48-27 win over Natrona out of Casper and dropped a close 35-34 match to Thunder basin. The Cobblers then fought back and garnered a 58-20 victory over Campbell County.
