RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle crash on I 90, at Mile Marker 96, which was caused by a wrong way driver on the Interstate.
The patrol says the wrong way vehicle was going westbound in the eastbound lane and hit an SUV traveling eastbound.
Both lanes of I 90 were shut down for about an hour and a half while fire and rescues personnel removed the driver and passengers.
Officials say serious non-life threatening injuries are a result of this crash.
