Wrong way driver causes crash on I-90 at Mile Marker 96

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle crash on I 90, at  Mile Marker  96, which was caused by a wrong way driver on the Interstate.

The patrol says the wrong way vehicle was going westbound in the eastbound lane and hit an SUV traveling eastbound.

Both lanes of I 90 were shut down for about an hour and a half while fire and rescues personnel removed the driver and passengers.

Officials say serious non-life threatening injuries are a result of this crash.
