GILLETTE, Wyo. – The Wyoming Mustangs won their first game of the season 59-51 over the Rapid City Marshals on Saturday at the Cam-plex.
Rapid City trailed the Mustangs 34-18 at halftime, and at one point in the second half, only trailed by seven.
But, the Mustangs were able to hold on and capture the win.
The Mustangs win pushes the team to 1-4 on the year and 1-3 in league play.
The Marshals drop to 1-2 on the season.
They will play the Southwest Kansas Storm next weekend in Dodge City, Kansas.
