RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Post 22 Hardhats wrapped up a four game series on Thursday by winning two more games against Brookings Post 74.
The Hardhats rallied from eight runs down in the first game to beat the Bandits, 20-8.
Then Post 22 shut out Brookings in the second game, 10-0.
During the final game on Thursday, Alex Dietrich and Wilson Kieffer each drove in two runs for Post 22.
In other legion action Thursday, Rapid City Post 320 dropped a pair of games to the Aberdeen Smitty’s.
Aberdeen took game one by the score of 23-3 and won game  two by the score of 16-6.
The two teams play another doubleheader today beginning at 10:00 a.m.
And, Spearfish Post 64 defeated Clark/Willow Lake by the score of 9-1 last evening. Spearfish tonight plays the Post 13 Buffalo Bulls.
The Sturgis Post 33 Titans are also in action tonight, playing a pair of games in Hartington, Nebraksa.
The Titans will play Tabor in the first game at 4:15 followed by Hartington at 6:30 p.m.
