Brandon Valley wins 11AAA, Tea Area wins 11A football championships

VERMILLION, S.D. – Brandon Valley defeated Harrisburg 35-14 on Saturday night to win the 11AAA championship, their second title in three years.

The game was deadlocked through the first two quarters, but Brandon Valley pulled away with their running game in the second half.

Meanwhile, Tea Area took advantage of a hot start to roll past Canton 35-16 in the 11A state championship game on Saturday afternoon. This is the second state football title for Tea Area in the past three years.
