RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Post 22 cruised through the opening round of the legion playoffs with two five-inning victories over Spearfish.

The Hardhats beat Spearfish 12-1 in game one and shut out the Spartans 15-0 in game two.

In other legion playoff games Tuesday:

Brandon Valley swept Huron, 12-0 in game one and 15-0 in game two.

Pierre ended Yankton’s season with two wins, 8-0 in game one and 9-0 in game two.

Mitchell downed Brookings in two games; 8-7 in game one and 6-4 in game two.

Watertown rolled over Aberdeen; 17-0 in game one and 16-5 in game two.

Harrisburg swept Sioux Falls West 15-2 and 16-0.

And, Rapid City Post 320 advances with a hard fought 2-0 win over Sioux Falls East in game one and 7-5 in game two.
