Spearfish wins West River Challenge Thursday at Meadowbrook

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The West River Challenge golf tournament was held Thursday at Meadowbrook Golf Course.

Spearfish won the team title, finising on top with a low score of 160. Rapid City Central was second with a 166 and Rapid City Stevens finished third with a 179.

St Thomas More was fourth with a 208 and Sturgis was fifth with a 222.

Winning individual medalist honors was Alex Duran of Rapid City Central, who carded a 36. Sam Grout of Spearfish was second with a 38 and Seth Stock of Central finished third with a 39.
