PIERRE, S,D. – South Dakota health officials reported 732 new cases of COVID-19 this week.
Active cases have dropped to 540 and there are 81 people hospitalized due to the virus.
Four new deaths were reported, sending the state’s death toll to 3,021. One of the new deaths was out of Pennington County.
New cases around the Black Hills this week included 87 in Pennington County, 27 in Meade County and Lawrence County had 18.
Elsewhere, Butte County listed 9, Custer County had 5, Fall River County reported 12 and Oglala Lakota County had 35.
