GREGORY, S.D. – One person died early Friday morning in a one-vehicle crash south of Gregory.
The name of the person involved has not yet been released pending notification of family members.
Preliminary crash information indicates that a 2001 Chevrolet S-10 pickup was eastbound on 302nd Avenue, a half mile west of South Dakota Highway 251, when the vehicle entered the south ditch and rolled.
The 22-year-old male driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
