Custer, Belle Fourche win team titles at Belle Fourche Cross Country Invite

BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. – The Custer boys and Belle Fourche girls won the team titles of the Belle Fourche Cross Country Invite on Thursday.

Custer won the boys title with 17 points and Belle Fourche was second with 29.

Belle Fourche won the girls team title with 18 points and Hot Springs was second.

Winning the boys race was Sawyer Clarkson of Belle Fourche in a time of 16:30.89. Lane Krautschun of Bison came in second and Gage Grohs of Custer was third.

Winning the girls race was Hallie Person of Lead-Deadwood in a time of 20:42.46.

Kadense Dooley of Custer was second and Mallory Jones of Moorcroft was third.
