WASTA, S.D. – Fire crews in the Wasta area helped knock down a fire off I-90 Saturday afternoon.

The fire was sparked by a semi trailer hauling bales of hay which caught fire.

The fire spread into the north ditch and into the center median causing six acres to burn.
