SPEARFISH, S.D. – A Spearfish woman has announced her candidacy for District 31 House of Representatives.
Mary Fitzgerald made her announcement earlier this week.
Fitzgerald, a Republican, earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Black Hills State University.
She is married to Lawrence County State’s Attorney John Fitzgerald and they have three grown children.
Fitzgerald says “I’m prepared to work hard making the hard choices for both Lawrence County and South Dakota.”
She touts her work experience and family orientation as well as being a good listener and problem solver as a good fit for District 31.
