PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Health reported 200 new cases of COVID-19 Saturday. Eighty-four of those were considered as probable.
Active cases numbered 2,210 and the number of people hospitalized dropped by ten to 96.
One new death was reported, sending the state’s death toll to 1,953.
Pennington County added 15 new cases with 2 of them listed as probable. Meade County had 3 new cases and Lawrence County had one new case.
Custer County added 3 new cases and there was one probable case in Oglala Lakota County.
