John Elway free to focus on O-line, receivers in NFL draft

DENVER, Colo. – Denver Broncos general manager John Elway is set to address his team’s biggest needs in the NFL draft after plugging his biggest holes during a busy offseason.

Elway acquired cornerback A.J. Bouye and defensive lineman Jurrell Casey in trades and also signed offensive lineman Graham Glasgow, running back Melvin Gordon, tight end Nick Vannett, backup quarterback Jeff Driskel and punter Sam Martin in free agency.

Those moves will allow Elway to focus on wide receivers and offensive linemen in the draft as he looks to give quarterback Drew Lock a better supporting cast.
