RAPID CITY, S.D. – A man charged with manslaughter entered a guilty plea during a court appearance in Rapid City Monday.
Originally charged with murder, Quincy Bear Robe, 21, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter.
In a letter read in court on Monday, Bear Robe admitted to shooting at Myron “Blaine” Pourier Jr. while intoxicated on March 19, 2022.
One of the bullets missed Pourier, while the other hit him, killing him.
Bear Robe faces up to life in prison when he’s sentenced on January 22, 2024.
