RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police say an unresponsive male was found off of New York Street near E. North Street Friday morning around 7:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, medical units confirmed that the man was deceased.
Rapid City Police Department stated that no signs of foul play were immediately noticeable but that an autopsy would be conducted to determine cause of death. They also stated that they will be working with Pennington County Sheriff’s Office to conduct a full investigation into the circumstances that surrounded the individual’s death.
The identity of the man is being withheld pending notification of his family.
