Mary Jane Hemmingson, age 93, of Kadoka, South Dakota, died on Monday, April 15, 2024 at the Kadoka Nursing Home.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 19, at the Kadoka Bible Church, with Pastor Jesse Taylor officiating.
Interment will be at the Kadoka Cemetery.
Survivors include daughter Paulette Wilmarth of Kadoka and Ronnie (Nancy) Hemmingson of Eureka; four grandchildren: Eric Wilmarth, Cody Wilmarth, Lori (Jeff) Konst, and Justin Hemmingson; five great-grandchildren: Jade (Bailey) Konst, Kylee Wilmarth, Samantha Wilmarth, Kayla Wilmarth, and Jaslyn (Devin) Kampfe; two great-great-grandchildren Harper Quinn and Huxton Lee; sister Darlene McCormick of Spearfish; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew “Andy” Hemmingson on October 21, 2020; son-in-law Rick Wilmarth; her parents; two sisters Marcelene Kukal and Betty Griswold; and three brothers Merle, Neil, and Bob Rittel.
