PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota health officials reported 207 new cases of COVID-19 Saturday, with 40 of them listed as probable.
Three new deaths were reported as well, sending the state’s death toll to 1,922.
Active cases decreased by 7 to 2,233 and the number of people hospitalized because of the virus totaled 69.
Pennington County reported 14 new cases Saturday, with 3 of them considered as probable cases.
Meade and Lawrence County each reported 4 new cases.
Two new cases each were reported in Butte, Custer and Oglala Lakota Counties.
