PIERRE, S.D. – In just a matter of days, Governor Kristi Noem has been tested twice for the Coronavirus.
She says both tests have been negative.
Noem’s taking the tests as a precautionary measure.
Late last week, she had hugged Kimberly Guilfoyle, the girlfriend of Donald Trump Junior, and Guilfoyle had tested positive.
Noem tells Fox News that Kimberly is asymptomatic anyway.
“The science of the virus tells us that it is very difficult to spread the virus when you are asymptomatic.”
The Governor is defending her flight on Air Force One with President Trump after the Rushmore fireworks show. She’s been criticized for making the trip after having been exposed to COVID-19.
Noem says she tested negative just before the flight and again tested negative on Tuesday.
