Pierre Man charged in RC womans death pleads not guilty

PIERRE, S.D. – A Pierre man charged in the death of a Rapid City woman last November has pleaded not guilty to those charges.

David Shangreaux, Jr. entered not guilty pleas to a charge of First Degree Murder; Second Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault.

Murder Investigation Underway In Pierre 〉

Shangreaux is charged in connecting to the stabbing death of 17 year-old Evie Maxey at a Pierre apartment on November30th.

First Degree Murder is punishable by life in prison or the death penalty.

A trial date has not been set
