KADOKA, S.D. – Firefighters say an R.V. was destroyed by fire on I-90 near Kadoka.
The Kadoka Volunteer Fire Department says crews were called to the fire about 7 miles west of town around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Those first on scene found a fully engulfed R.V. with a small fire spreading to the grass.
Traffic was slowed through the area as crews worked to put out the flames.
The owner and their pet were able to make it out safely. Authorities say no firefighters or law enforcement were hurt while on scene.
Officials say the R.V. was a total loss.
