STURGIS, S.D. – The City of Sturgis recently requested the Rapid City, Pierre & Eastern Railroad to make some improvements on the 3rd Street Railroad Crossing.
City officials say they have been informed that tentatively on September 2, 2020, they will be installing new planks and performing some general maintenance which should greatly improve the crossing.
Be prepared for a limited road closure at this location on September 2, 2020.
