RAPID CITY, S.D. — Police were dispatched to the 700 block of South Street Tuesday night for a report of a male firing a pistol at a vehicle.
When they arrived, officers spoke with several witnesses and determined the event was followed by an altercation between a motorist and a motorcyclist.
At one point during the incident, the motorcyclist began firing a handgun at the motor vehicle before fleeing the scene.
Police have not received any reports of injuries as a result of the gunfire, and the shooting incident remains under active investigation by the Rapid City Police Department.
